Performance Works NorthWest is a performing arts non-profit and the parent organization of Linda Austin & Dancers.
Our mission is to advance the contemporary performing arts in the Pacific Northwest. We achieve this by creating and performing works by our own company, presenting the work of other artists and by providing the community with an inexpensive space for rehearsal, workshops and other events.

Ongoing programs include:
Cabaret Boris & Natasha,
an eclectic mix of dance, music, performance art, theatre, and general revelry

Holy Goats! Sunday Afternoon Improvisations
an almost-monthly series devoted to experiments in dance and music improvisation.

Since the founding of Performance Works NorthWest by Linda Austin
& Jeff Forbes in 1999, we have produced several programs by Linda Austin &Dancers, a RACC-funded series of dance and music collaborations in October 2000, as well as Cabaret Boris & Natasha and Holy Goats!

In the summer of 2000, we renovated and moved into our home space in SE Portland (the former St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church), a space which continues to accumulate the good karma/vibes/aura/what-have-you of creative performers and audience members from Portland and beyond.
