About PAC
Mission
Portland Art Center is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization. Portland Art Center exists to facilitate the dialogue between contemporary visual art and the community at large. We are dedicated to showing art that pushes the boundaries of both form and content. We show thoughtful, provocative work from local and national artists at all stages of their careers. As a large alternative space, we are free of the constraints of traditional galleries. This freedom allows us to maintain a vibrant, relevant presence in the literal and cultural center of Portland. PAC is a place for people to experience contemporary art and to connect with each other.
